New Delhi: Bringing good news for medical graduates having foreign degrees, the Medical Council of India is now recognising foreign PG medical qualifications and providing them equivalence to domestic PG qualifications for the purpose of entry level teaching requirements in the country. The Medical Council of India has brought an amendment in the “Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998”, granting equivalence to many PG foreign qualifications to take up teaching in medical colleges in the country.
