In the land of the All Blacks, great walks, mountains, oceans, and everything in between, New Zealand’s education sector is growing by leaps and bounds. Education New Zealand’s (ENZ) recent impact study shows a 50 percent increase since 2014 in spending by international students in New Zealand. Its value? About $3.1 billion. The sector generated around 15,000 jobs.International education is now the nation’s fourth largest export, with total international student enrollment exceeding 125,000 in 2015. New Zealand’s largest market lies in China, accounting for nearly 35 percent of the sector’s revenues in 2015-16 and 27 percent of all international students. India follows, accounting for 16.4 percent of the market share and 25 percent of the students,while Japan and South Korea each account for more than 7 percent of total spending. International graduate outcomes, all ages, for various levels of qualification in years one-to-eight following graduation.
